…a UK national charity for single homeless people. Crisis was formed in 1967, as an urgent response to the growing homelessness crisis. Since then they have helped tens of thousands of people out of homelessness and campaigned for change.
The charity now offers year-round education, employment, housing and well-being services. We are working closely with the team at Crisis to help end homelessness.
…our suppliers have joined forces with The Ghanaian Women Project, who have developed an environmentally friendly, socially equal and therefore a sustainable model to supply Shea Butter.
The Ghanaian Women’s project also helps financially support communities and has drastically increased communities and projects that are protecting some of the last remaining biodiversity rich areas of the West African Savannah including the Shea Parkland and the hippos of the Black Volta River which runs alongside north west Ghana.
We aim to do all we can, with whatever we can, even though we do not have all the tools or the resources to help others at times. However, we do all we can. We recognise we have a voice. We have donated to the below causes and we support their efforts to make a change to the world we live in.
Black Lives Matter, the global organisation who fight for freedom, liberation and justice to eliminate white supremacy and build local power to stop violence inflicted on black communities by vigilantes.
Show Racism the Red Card, the UK anti-racism and education charity whose work includes implementing educational workshops for young people and adults in schools, workplaces and at events to educate, discuss and raise awareness of the importance of anti-racist movements.
Southall Black Sisters work to challenge and combat domestic and gender violence, both locally and nationally in the UK, so that black (Asian & African-Carribbean) women can live without fear or violence and receive justice, equality and freedom.
Dr.PAWPAW proudly supports Stone Wall UK as an ambassador with our monthly donations and encourage always, acceptance without exception.
Stone Wall UK work to create a world where everyone feels free to be who they are, wherever they are, by empowering individuals, transforming institutions, changing hearts and minds and changing and protecting laws.
We also proudly support our local LGBT+ charity Galop UK. The team at Galop provides much-needed advice and support to people who have experienced biphobia, homophobia, transphobia, sexual violence or domestic abuse.
We still have a way to go, but we join in support of change for a better and kinder world.
